The Northern Indigenous Artists’ Collective began distributing arts supplies bursaries that it awarded to students earlier this year, via a call to teachers and students at SD 57.

Students from both elementary and secondary schools will receive gift certificates for art supplies at Ridgeside Art, ranging in value from $50 to $100.

Recently two students and their teachers and families visited the NIAC office to meet members of the steering committee, including Ivan Paquette, Diane Levesque and Carla Joseph.
