Experience "Around the World" at Studio 2880

Studio 2880 proudly presents "Around the World," a unique art exhibit by artist Pat Klassen. The opening event will take place on Thursday, September 12th, at 5pm with an artist presentation at 5:30pm.

Pat Klassen's art transforms vinyl records into intricate displays of global maps and landmarks, merging musical nostalgia with artistic talent. Each piece skillfully cut to represent different parts of the world, offering a fresh perspective on both art and geography.

About Pat Klassen:

Pat has a passion for recycling and after learning how the broken records were being sent to the landfill, began incorporating the vinyls into her art in unique ways.  Her vinyl art is made with her hands…and her heart.  She uses a CNC router for cutting, followed by hand filing and assembly.  Each piece is a testament to her commitment to quality and sustainability.  Pat was born and raised in Prince George, BC.
