The Nutcracker is a co-production with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra and Judy Russell Presents. In the true spirit of community partnerships, JRP will offer the opportunity to audition to all community dancers! They DO NOT HAVE TO BE MEMBERS OF ENCHAINEMENT DANCE CENTRE to audition (and if they are successful) participate in the 2019 Christmas production of Judy Russell and The PGSO’s “The Nutcracker”!

Participants must be available for all rehearsals and performances, December 15-22, 2019

When:  Saturday September 7^th, 2019

Ages as of December 31, 2019

10:00am to 10:30am Ages 6 & 7 Boys and Girls (Min. of 1 full year of Ballet Training)

10:30am to 11:00am Ages 8 & 9 Boys and Girls (Min. of 2 full years of Ballet Training)

11:00am to 11:30am Ages 10 -12 Boys and Girls (Min. of 3 full years of Ballet Training)

11:30am to 12:15pm Ages 13 and up (soft Shoe only-Including Adults wishing to be considered to perform in scenes other than the Act One Party scene)

12:15pm to 1:00pm Ages 13 and up (Pointe shoes only- Minimum of 2 full years Ballet Training en Pointe)

Audition candidates must be dressed in classical attire

-Girls’ Hair must be in a low classical bun.

-Pinks tights and simple bodysuit.  No shorts or unitards.

-Boys’ hair must be off the face and if long may be in a ponytail or bun.

-T- shirt and tights or straight leg dance pants.

-Soft ballet slippers and Pointe shoes for dancers wishing to audition in the pointe category.
