This class will introduce students to chattering, a method of surface decoration involving texture creation.
Our instructor will demonstrate the process of making your very own chattering tool and how to use it.
You will have the opportunity to practice with your own pottery, but make sure it is in the cheese-hard stage (softer than leather-hard).
All potter skill levels are welcome!
Date: Sunday April 27th
Time: 1-4pm
Instructor: Jim Rawlings
Please note that if you wish to participate in the practice portion of the workshop, to you must be able to throw a finished vessel.
