Urban Alchemy

Hand crafted sterling silver + gold earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings, brooches, and small objects. I hand set semi-precious and precious gemstones into many of my adornments. I often use Mother Nature as my most precious muse -  trying to mimic her Inticate textures, awe-inspiring landscapes, and magical creatures that surround our Northern city of Prince George, BC. I employ a variety of techniques to achieve a high level of texture in my work, such as, anticlastic, fold and hand forming, lost wax and freeform casting, reticulation, fusing and granulation. I am very passionate about the environment and mindful use of our precious/finite materials. I carefully source gemstones and use recycled sterling silver and gold sheet and wire for my designs. In addition, I save all metal dust for refining and reuse scrap to create more art works. I also work with clients to remake heirloom pieces!
