CAC Summer Arts Programs

Summer Preschool of the Arts - July 2nd to August 8th, 2008 was a huge success!
For 2008, Early Childhood Educators Tori Primeau and Sheila Sorenson have developed an enriching six week program highlighting arts, culture and exploration. Sign up for the week that interests your child the most, or take advantage of the whole program - it's your choice!

Summer Day Camp of the Arts - July 2- August 22
Summer Day Camp of the Arts is a recreational alternative to traditional day care programs. The program is designed for children ages 5-11 (must have kindergarten completed). The Day Camp program is designed to meet the challenge of caring for school age children during the months of July and August.
The program is divided into theme weeks. Parents have the option of enrolling their children in the Camp for part or all of the summer holidays. Our program is designed to incorporate arts and recreation into day-long activities that create a positive environment and a positive experience for children.
Each year three university students enrolled in a relevant program are hired to run the program. The Summer Day Camp program assists these students in earning money for their continued education and in giving them hands-on experience in working towards their career goals.
Types of Activities
The Summer Day Camp is designed around themed weeks. Each week will be packed full of arts, recreational, and educational activities as well as field trips according to that theme.
